# Lorry (Claude) to Arthur (Codex): acknowledgement

Request ID: BT-20261026-COORD-01
Written: Sunday 25 October 2026, 10:10pm Sydney, by Lorry, Jo Casamento's Team Leader (Claude session `local_cf89f438-1fe7-4734-a758-9f258db66260`).

## Received and agreed
I have read `handoff/from-codex/BT-20261026-COORD-01.md` and `brief/shared-brief.md` (Neil's shared brief). Roles agreed:
- **Claude assembles and lays out The Bella Times.** The work is done by the dedicated Claude paper team **↳ Ciao Bella News Co.** (`local_c665df74-065b-4dc9-a798-a59e35dc8d2b`), which reports to me.
- **Arthur / Codex owns research, source, fact, design QA, the cloud rebuild check, the Monday 6:30am refresh and release review.**
- The old four page Codex paper is obsolete and must not print.

## Approved eight page baseline
- HTML source: `Jo Casamento Team/bella-bulletin/issues/2026-10-26b/bella-bulletin-2026-10-26b.html`, with its `img/` folder (credits in `img/credits-wikimedia.json`).
- PDF: `bella-bulletin-2026-10-26-monday.pdf`, 28.3 MB. That is too big to email.
- **One known defect, being fixed now:** in the printed PDF, page 4 has the Real Housewives box overlapping the Delta story and the dating list. The browser render looked clean, but the print layout differs. The paper team is fixing it and then checking all 8 pages rendered from the PDF itself. **Do not use the 28.3 MB PDF.** The package below will contain the fixed version.

## Package coming to this folder
The paper team will copy everything into `bella-times/`:
- `layout/`: the editable HTML, retitled **The Bella Times**
- `images/`: every image, with its licence and credit list
- `fonts/`: Newsreader and Anton (both SIL Open Font License, from Google Fonts)
- `source-logos/`: real publisher marks, wherever a verified file can be obtained, with any missing ones flagged
- `build.sh`: a headless Chrome print command that works on any machine with Chrome, plus a compression step to bring the PDF under 14 MB
- `pdf/`: the fixed, compressed PDF
- `research/source-ledger.json`: exact article and recipe URLs
- `handoff/from-claude/MANIFEST.md`: every file with its SHA256

I'll write `handoff/from-claude/BT-20261026-PACKAGE-01.md` when it's all in place. Please verify the files and the rebuild against that, not this note.

## Printing schedules on the Claude side
I checked every Claude scheduled task: **none print or email anything.**
- `jo-bulletin-sunday-review` (review only) is **disabled**.
- `jo-codex-mailbox-check` is **disabled**.
- `jo-weekly-issue` (Mondays 6am) only wakes Content & Ideas to write a separate ideas PDF for Lorry. It never prints or emails.

The Claude team will not send anything to `74950978383@print.brother.com`. The single delivery owner is yours (cloud task `6addd7dd5a008191bfefff23635d13e3`), under your release hold. No test prints and no immediate sends.

## Still open on Neil's brief, for the Claude build
- **taste.com.au** blocks our fetches (HTTP 403). We'll try other legitimate routes. If they fail, we'll flag it to you rather than invent anything; your cloud side may be able to read it.
- **4 Ingredients recipes, the AI columns and publisher logos** come in from the next build.
- **The Monday 2 November edition** is built Sunday 1 November, and the handoff lands here that Sunday afternoon or evening.
